उपभोक्ता विश्वास सर्वेक्षण

आज, रिजर्व बैंक ने नवंबर 2018 चक्र के उपभोक्ता विश्वास सर्वेक्षण (CCS)1 के परिणाम जारी किए। ये सर्वेक्षण 13 शहरों – अहमदाबाद, बेंगलुरु, भोपाल, चेन्नई, दिल्ली, गुवाहाटी, हैदराबाद, जयपुर, कोलकाता, लखनऊ, मुंबई, पटना और थिरुवनंथपुरम में आयोजित किया गया था; तथा इसमें सामान्य आर्थिक स्थिति, रोजगार परिदृश्य, समग्र मूल्य स्थिति और पारिवारिक इकाइयों की आय और व्यय के संबंध में 5,326 पारिवारिक इकाइयों की धारणाओं और अपेक्षाओं के लिए प्रतिक्रियाएं प्राप्त की गईं।

विशेष:

I. नवंबर 2018 में, सामान्य आर्थिक स्थिति और रोजगार परिदृश्य में बढ़ती निराशा के चलते और घरेलू खर्च में कुछ कटौती के कारण, मौजूदा स्थिति सूचकांक (CSI)2 नवंबर 2016 में शुरू हुए चरण के अंतर्गत और घटा।

II. रोजगार परिदृश्य और घरेलू खर्च पर कम आशावाद के चलते भावी अपेक्षाओं के सूचकांक (FEI) में भी गिरावट दिखी (चार्ट 1)।

III. सामान्य आर्थिक स्थिति पर वर्तमान भावना निराशावादी क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ी, जबकि अगले एक वर्ष के लिए दृष्टिकोण व्यापक रूप से पिछले दौर से अपरिवर्तित थे। (तालिका 1)।

IV. रोजगार परिदृश्य पर भी भावनाओं में - वर्तमान अवधि और एक वर्ष आगे, दोनों के लिए - गिरावट दिखी। (तालिका 2)।

V. भावनाओं में मामूली सुधार के बावजूद, उपभोक्ता कीमतों की स्थिति के बारे में निराशावादी बने रहे। (तालिका 3 एवं 4)।

VI. इसके विपरीत, वर्तमान वर्ष के लिए आय की स्थिति पर उत्तरदाताओं के मूल्यांकन में सुधार हुआ, और उन्होंने एक वर्ष आगे के लिए भी अपनी आय के बारे में आशा व्यक्त की (तालिका 5)।

VII. गैर-आवश्यक वस्तुओं पर व्यय में अपेक्षित कटौती के चलते परिवारों में खर्च को लेके भावनाओं में संयम था। (तालिका 6, 7 और 8)।

2 CSI और FEI को आर्थिक स्थिति, आय, व्यय, रोजगार और मूल्य स्तर के लिए मौजूदा तथा एक वर्ष आगे की शुद्ध प्रतिक्रियाओं के आधार पर संकलित किया गया है। CSI/FEI = 100 + उपरोक्त मानकों के शुद्ध प्रतिक्रियाओं का औसत।
