This Compact Disc (CD) contains all instructions issued by Reserve Bank of India, Department of Banking Operations and Development since inception. The contents of CD are divided in two sections.

1. Instructions issued prior to December 31, 1995 which are compiled in the form of a compendium of instruction, in four volumes have been reproduced in the compendium section. These instructions can be accessed through the link “ Compendium of Instructions” available on the navigation frame of the opening page.

2. Instructions issued after January 1, 1996 have been reproduced in the original full text form. These circulars can be accessed both chronologically and in subject wise groupings by clicking on ‘Subject wise” and “Year wise” link available on the navigation frame.

3.Separate section on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on banking matters has also been added in this edition.
