If yes, then whether leave reserve (LR) has to be engaged? What would be the formula for quoting charges for LR? Whether formula will be auto-applied while quoting the rates in the portal? | Weekly-off has to be given to Supervisor. LR is not required in the absence of Supervisor. Hence, the contractor is not mandated to quote for LR. | | 2. | Whether exemption for deposit of EMD is there for MSEs? | The MSE firm having the registration for Horticulture Services shall be exempted from submission of EMD. Such firms claiming the EMD exemption shall submit a copy of the MSE registration clearly indicating their category of registration for Horticulture Services. In case of any deficiency in the same the tender shall not be considered further. | | 3. | Whether Nil amount can be quoted in Services charges? | Please refer to corrigendum dated November 05, 2020, uploaded on the RBI and MSTC website in this regard. | | 4. | Is it mandatory to give list of labours to be deployed? | Please refer to clause 12 (O) General Terms and Conditions of Contract on page no. 24 of the Part – I of the tender document. | | 5. | Whether the contractor has to purchase new tools and equipment required for horticulture? | Please refer to clause 5 of Detailed Scope of Work on page 37 of the Part – I of the tender document. | | 6. | Whether labour license is to be submitted before bidding? | Please refer to clause 2 (f) of Notice Inviting Tender on page no. 4 of Part – I of the tender document. The labour license is required to be uploaded while submitting the Part – I of the tender. | | 7. | Shall the contractor quote the amount after rounding-off or quoted amount should be in actuals (in decimals)? | Amount should be quoted in actuals i.e. in decimals and rounding-off is not permitted. | | 8. | Whether the amount is to be quoted as per the latest labour rates? | Please refer to clause no 15 of page no 50, of Preamble to Schedule of Quantities. The rates have to be quoted as per the labour rates effective on the date of notification of the tender. | | 9. | Whether the expenses incurred by the contractor for supply of saplings / plants would be reimbursed separately by the Bank? | Yes, the expenses incurred for supply of saplings / plants would be reimbursed, if the purchase / work order for the same is issued by the Bank. | | |
