Point 2 | The contractor should provide a certificate of fitness from the concerned Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI)/Road Transport Officer (RTO) and ensure vehicles being made available for the purpose should have road permit to travel in Maharashtra. Vehicle drivers must possess a valid driving license while on duty. | While the other conditions remain the same, Containers and vehicles should preferably have an All India Road Permit but Road Permit to travel in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh is mandatory. | | 3. | Section IV- Commercial Conditions
Point 2.2 | GST paid by the contractor will be fully reimbursed by the Bank. | The rate per km quoted should be all inclusive, i.e. should include all applicable taxes, vehicle hire charges, labour charges, loading/unloading charges, insurance charges, charges for security arrangements, night detention charges, charges for return trip, minimum number of hours, toll charges etc BUT will be exclusive of GST. Contractor has liability to pay GST on forward charge basis on the transportation. GST will be reimbursed by the Bank
For Air-Conditioned taxis, if the successful bidder is other than a body corporate than GST would be charged on Reverse Charge Mechanism basis. | | 4. | Part II – Price Bid | Rate for transport and delivery of coins under Bank Guarantee to various chest branches situated in Maharashtra & Chhattisgarh regions. The return journey will be merely return of empty vehicle to Head Quarter. Rates may be quoted accordingly (per km basis) | The empty vehicle is at the disposal of the transporter and need not necessarily be brought back to Head Quarter. Scope of Work
Point 4 | The Contractor shall arrange to fix GPRS/ GPS devices in all the container trucks carrying the treasure at his own cost & provide access to the Bank to monitor the movement of the vehicle on real time basis. | In addition, the contractor shall ensure the following
i. The container trucks/ vehicles shall be equipped with wireless mobile communication system along with a hooter.
ii. The container trucks/ vehicles shall have high resolution CCTV coverage of both passenger and cargo compartment. | Note: -
The above corrigendum shall form the part of bid document / Agreement. -
The corrigendum will also uploaded on MSTC portal. -
Rest of the Terms and conditions and specifications of the tender document shall continue to remain same. -
The above amendments / clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders. -
