Minutes of Pre Bid Meeting - Providing linear work stations for augmentation of seating capacity at third floor of Main Office building, Reserve Bank of India, Belapur, Navi Mumbai

(e-tender no. RBI/Belapur/Estate/183/19-20/ET/356)

A pre-bid meeting in respect of the captioned tender was held as per schedule on February 17, 2020 at 03.00 pm. Queries raised during the meeting and clarifications are as follows:

1. Is there any tolerance for the change in dimension of the workstations?
(Ref: Item no. 5 of Part-II of the Tender document).
Dimension may vary slightly at the time of execution.
2. Pedestals (drawer units) are not mentioned in the item list of Part-II of the tender, whereas they are shown in layout of the workstations. Are they required? No pedestals (drawer units) will be required to be provided by the vendor.
3. Can partition (frame) size be 60 mm instead of 50 mm?
(As mentioned in Tender document).
Yes, if usable area is not compromised.
4. Is it mandatory to make payment of EMD? Yes, as per clause 11 of Part-I the tender document.
5. What is the mode of payment for EMD? As mentioned in the terms & conditions of Part-I of the Tender document.(Schedule-E, page no. 89)
6. Is NEFT acceptable for EMD? Yes, EMD can be accepted if the payment mode is NEFT.
7. Is Performance Guarantee (PG) to be provided by the vendor mandatory? Yes, 5% PG equivalent to the total contracted amount payable as mentioned in section-1, page no.4 of the Part-I of the Tender document.
8. Is solvency certificate required to be provided by the vendor? Yes, 100% of tender value, as mentioned in clause no. 1 of section-III of the Part-I Tender document.
9. Though the Tender document mentions that 30 days is required for completing the work, as per our estimate it seems less. Can the time for completion of the said work be extended? No, the timeline is to be strictly adhered to unless there are valid and justifiable reasons for delay.
10. What if there is any delay from RBI? Timeline will be adjusted accordingly.
11. Whether any correction will require digital signature while applying for tender on MSTC portal? Documents to be uploaded on MSTC portal may be corrected with signatures/initials authenticating the corrections.
12. What will be the last date for submission of EMD? EMD may be submitted upto 1 PM on February 28, 2020.
13. What about 5% of retention money to be retained up to the completion of DLP and Bank Guarantee (BG)? Security deposit of 5% is retention money which will be retained till the DLP is over. Other conditions as regard BG are as per Tender documents.
